Tips
Are replacement dog door flaps easy to change?
This is a fairly easy flap to change the second time you do it but the first time may seem a bit like a mind game.
Normally these are broken before you get a chance to take a good look at it.
The door frame needs to be unscrewed and removed from your door.
Once it's off and assuming your old flap is broken and has been taken out.
start by adding the u-shape outer frame to the replacement flap the flap does have to face the correct way or it will not close. Check this
Then open the two so they are straight and flat u-shape one side and replacement flap the other keep them straight pass the u-shape into the top of the door frame from the inside to the outside.
When the lugs arrive at the slots simply push them in.
Now refit your door.
The second time you do this you will take a few minutes.
